ONE-HAND OPERATION
Walk out at night knowing exactly what’s waiting.
That rustle at the treeline used to mean squinting into the black and hoping. Now you lift Nightwarden and the dark turns into shapes: a doe and two fawns, a coyote working the fence line, your dog headed home. One hand runs it, by feel, even in gloves, so the other stays free for the gate, the leash or the rifle. You stop wondering what’s out there. You know.

ALWAYS WITHIN REACH
It’s in your pocket when you need it most.
The dogs go off at 2 a.m. and something’s out by the barn. Whatever’s in the truck or the closet doesn’t help you then; what’s on you does. At 310 grams Nightwarden rides in a coat pocket you forget about, and one charge lasts past 11 hours, so it’s ready when you reach for it. No digging for a flashlight, and no walking out blind.

BUILT FOR THE FIELD
The one piece of gear you never have to baby.
You’ve had gear quit on you when it mattered: a dead battery in the cold, a fogged lens, something that drowned in the first creek crossing. Nightwarden is sealed against rain and mud, wrapped in rubber armor, and keeps working from 4 below to 113°F. Drop it, soak it, leave it on the seat of a frozen truck. It’ll be working when you need it again.

ANY LAST QUESTIONS?
The things people ask before they order
How far can it actually see?
Detection is rated to 450 yards: at that distance a deer or a person shows as a clear bright heat source against the dark. Recognition, where you can tell a deer from a dog by body shape, is around 100 yards, and closer for small animals. Buyers report picking out deer at 200 yards and a mouse at 75. It's a spotting tool first, and we'd rather tell you that now than have you expect a photograph at 400 yards.
What's the difference between this and night vision?
Night vision amplifies light, so it needs some moon or an infrared lamp, and an animal standing still in brush looks like brush. Thermal reads heat. A fox in a bush at midnight is a bright shape against a cold background, with nothing lit up to give you away. One buyer missed a fox behind his tent with night-vision goggles and found it with this in seconds.
Does it work through a window or in fog?
No on both. Glass blocks infrared, so it won't see through a windshield or a house window; lower the window or step outside. Heavy fog, rain and snow scatter the signal and flatten the picture. Clear nights, dusk and dawn are where it earns its keep. One more rule: never point it at the sun. It can mark the sensor.
How does the phone app work?
Turn on the monocular's hotspot, open the free companion app, and the live view appears on your phone with no lag, so a spouse or a kid can watch what you're seeing. Take photos and video from either device. Everything also saves to the 32 GB inside and copies to a computer over the USB-C cable.
How long does the battery last?
The 5,000 mAh cell runs over 11 hours on a charge and barely drains in storage. It charges over USB-C from any power bank, so a night in the blind and the drive home never run it flat.
